Oh darn, I'm sorry you are not too happy with the jacket. I guess if you learned some things on it, all is not lost. Oh, but I know the disappointment of which you write. I admire that you tried some difficult sewing techniques, at least they seem difficult to me since I haven't tried them, like your mitered corners and double layer on the edges. It's good to keep pushing ourselves to learn new things! Way to go!
ReplyDeleteI know that feeling. Sometimes it gets better if the offending garment has a nice long rest in a dark wardrobe in order to think about its misdeeds, and sometimes not :(. It looks beautifully made from here.
ReplyDeleteDeb,
ReplyDeleteI love it, you go girl!
What a shame you aren't happy, particularly because the Kay Unger dress would look so good with this jacket. I'm especially impressed at the double binding in contrasting colors!!! Yes, you will feel better....and maybe change you mind to view this more favorably. In the meantime, we understand your frustration.
